Ham Steaks with Maple Mango Sauce

4 ham steaks, about 125 g each
Maple Mango Sauce
40 g butter
4 slices mango
2 tablespoons cornflour
3/4 cup orange and mango juice
1/3 cup finely sliced shallots
1/4 red capsicum, seeded and cut into strips
1 tablespoon maple syrup

Directions

To make sauce, melt 20 g butter in pan over medium heat. Add cornflour and blend in juice. Bring to boil and stir until sauce thickens. Add shallots, capsicum and maple syrup, and simmer for 3 minutes on low heat. Remove from pan and keep warm. Melt remaining butter in pan and quickly brown ham steaks then stir in mango slices. Serve steaks topped with sauce. Serves 4.
